Please read the entire instruction manual before use and save it for 
future reference. We reserve the right for any errors in text or images

Safety

• 

Do not use the on surfaces having voltages exceeding 24 V AC  
or 60 V DC.

• 

The thermometer must not be used in the oven or microwave.

• 

To avoid electric shocks, always disconnect the thermometer from 
the test object before taking the thermometer to pieces.

Buttons and Functions

Choosing the temperature channel

• 

Push [ T1 ] or [ T2 ] to choose which you channel you wish to use. 

• 

The display will indicate which channel has been chosen by 
displaying “T1” or “T2”.

Choosing the temperature unit

When the thermometer is turned on it uses the temperature unit used 
most recently. To change the temperature unit, push [ °C ] (Celsius) or  
[ °F ]  (Fahrenheit).

Differential measurement

Differential measurement is used to measure the difference in temperature 
between the two channels T1 and T2 (temperature of input T1 minus 
the temperature at input T2).

• 

Push button [ T1-T2 ] to choose differential measurement.

Choose resolution

The display can be adjusted show temperatures with either high or  
low resolution.

• 

Push the [ C.1°/1° ] button to alter the resolution of the display. 
Low resolution: 

0.1 °C 

High resolution: 

1 °C 

If the measured temperature is outside the resolution, “1” will 
appear on the display. 

• 

Change the resolution as described above to 

1 °C

 if you want to 

measure temperatures over 199,9°.

Data hold

• 

Push [ HOLD ] to continue displaying the measured temperature. 
“HOLD” blinks on the display. Deactivate the function by pushing 
[ HOLD ]  again.

Highest measured temperature (Max)

1.  Push [ MAX ] to begin memorising the highest measured 

temperatures. 

2.  The display stops and continues to display the highest measured 

temperature. Push [ MAX ] once more to return to the normal 
temperature display (the highest measured temperature is deleted).

Backlight

button to activate or deactivate the backlight.

Care and Maintenance

Changing the battery

Note!

 To avoid electric shocks, always disconnect the thermometer 

from the test object before taking the thermometer to pieces.
When the low battery symbol   appears on the display, it is time to 
change the battery.
1.  Turn the thermometer off and remove the thermocouples.
2.  Remove the rubber holster surrounding the thermometer by pulling 

it upwards.

3.  Undo the screws on the battery cover.
4.  Open the battery compartment and replace the battery with a new 

6LR61 (9 V) battery. Replace the battery cover, screw and rubber holster.

Cleaning

Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the product. Always disconnect 
the thermometer from the test object before cleaning.

Disposal

Follow local ordinances when disposing of this product. If you are unsure 
about how to dispose of this product contact your municipality.

Use

Connecting the thermocouple

On top of the thermometer there are two connections (T1 and T2) for 
type K thermocouples.

• 

Connect the thermocouples to the connections (1). Make sure you 
align the contacts correctly, they only work one way.
