Operation
• Plug the mains adaptor into a wall socket and then into the socket (13) on
the back of the unit.
• Insert 4 x AA/LR6 batteries into the battery compartment. The batteries
only work as a backup for the clock and the alarm if it is activated. If there is
a power cut, the clock will run off the batteries and alarm setting will not be lost.
When the power comes back on, the alarm will still be active and the clock will
show the right time.
•
Note:
If, however, there is still a power cut when the alarm is due to go off,
the alarm will not go off.
Radio
1. Press [ POWER ] to turn the unit on.
2. Press [ FUNCTION ] and select
TUNER
.
Manual channel search
Press [
|◄◄
] or [
►►
| ] to increase or decrease the frequency.
Automatic channel search
1. Hold in [
|◄◄
] or [
►►
| ] for at least 2 seconds to automatically search for
a station on a higher or lower frequency.
2. The appliance stops at the first station it finds.
3. Hold in [
|◄◄
] or [
►►
| ] for at least 2 seconds once again to search for
another station.
Saving radio stations in the memory
20 stations can be preset.
1. Search for a station as described above, manually or automatically.
2. Hold in [ MEM/SET ] until “P 01” (preset slot 1) flashes on the display.
Change to another preset slot using [
|◄◄
] or [
►►
| ] if desired.
3. Press [ MEM/SET ] again to set the station.
4. Browse the preset stations by pressing or holding in [ MEM+ ].
iPod/iPhone
1. Press [ FUNCTION ] and select
IPHONE
.
2. Place an iPod/iPhone in the dock; use the plastic holder which came with your
iPod/iPhone when you bought it.
Note:
Be careful not to damage your iPod/
iPhone or the dock during the docking process.
3. Your iPod/iPhone can now be controlled using the buttons on the front of the unit,
as described above.
