Charging the helicopter
The helicopter can be charged via the controller or the included USB lead.
Via the controller:
1. Open the panel on the side of the controller and withdraw the charger lead.
2. The helicopter’s on/off switch should be set to
OFF
.
3. Connect the charger lead to the port marked, “CHA”.
4. Switch the controller to
ON
.
5. The green charging light on the controller should come on. Charging takes about
an hour. The helicopter is fully charged once the green charging light goes off.
Via the USB lead:
1. The helicopter’s on/off switch should be set to
OFF
.
2. Connect one end of the USB lead to the helicopter and the other end to a computer.
The indicator light on the USB lead should be lit.
3. Charging takes about an hour. Charging is complete once the light goes off.
General flying advice
•
Use indoors and not in the vicinity of cooling fans or air conditioning units.
•
Make sure that there is enough free space in the area where you intend to operate
the helicopter.
•
Do not fly the helicopter close to fragile objects.
•
Avoid flying in strong sunlight/lighting as this could possibly affect the controls
adversely.
•
Do not cover the lens of the transmitter.
•
Both the helicopter and surrounding objects may be damaged if due care is not
exercised during operation.
Operating instructions
1. Turn the helicopter and controller on by setting their on/off switches to
ON
.
2. The helicopter lights will come on and the red indicator light on the controller will
start to flash.
3. Place the helicopter on the ground with the tail towards you.
4. When the helicopter is synchronised with the controller the red light on the helicopter
will also flash.
