• If you use the timer having already set a preferred room temperature, the thermostat will switch off the
fan heater once the preferred room temperature has been reached, regardless of the timer setting.
• If both the timer and desired temperature have been set the respective setting will be shown in
the display every 30 seconds.
• If the fan has been in standby mode the fan will start with the settings that were input when it was
previously used the next time the fan is turned on (unless a timer has been set).
• The brightness of the display will decrease automatically after the fan has been on for 1 minute.
• The fan has a built-in tip-over switch that switches the fan off if it falls over. To deactivate the tip-over
switch, unplug the fan from the mains and stand it upright.
• If the built-in overheating protection is activated (the temperature is over 60 °C) the display will show
“EE” and it is not possible to set the desired temperature.
• If the ambient temperature is lower than -10 °C the display will show “LO”.
• If the ambient temperature is higher than 40 °C the display will show “HI”.
Care and maintenance
• Always unplug the lead from the power point and let the fan cool down properly before cleaning it.
• Clean the exterior of the fan by wiping it with a damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket and store the fan in a dry, dust-free environment out of
the reach of children, whenever the fan is not to be used for an extended period
