Safety
• This kettle can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the kettle in a safe way and if they understand the hazards
involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged
under 8 years.
• The kettle can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the kettle in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Never let children play with the kettle.
• Check that your power supply is 220–240 V and that
the kettle is connected to an earthed socket.
• Always unplug the kettle from the power point when it is not
in use.
• Always unplug the lead from the power point and let the kettle
cool down properly before cleaning it.
• Do not pull or carry the kettle by the mains lead. Do not use
the lead as a handle or let it get pinched in door jambs.
Do not pull the lead around sharp corners or edges.
• Make sure that the lead does not come in contact with
hot surfaces such as cooker hobs.
