USER INSTRUCTIONS
1. Insert and secure the chosen attachment into the chuck of your power
drill. Install a drill bit into the chuck of the right angle adaptor using the
chuck key provided or the long flexible adaptor and tighten securely.
•
Never use with a drill in ‘hammer’ mode.
2. Set the drill to a reasonably slow speed, plug in and switch on.
3. When drilling, use a steady pressure, push the drill into the surface, do not
force the drill, allow the drill bit to do the work. It may be necessary to
adjust the speed to suit the size of drill bit and the material.
•
As a general guide, the larger the hole, the slower the speed required,
also the harder the material being cut, the slower the speed.
4. Always store the attachments in the carry case after use.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
ALWAYS
take care that your hands or clothing do not come into contact with
the chuck of the drill which drives these attachments. Beware of wearing
loose clothing & ensure cuffs are secured.
ALWAYS
learn the applications, limitations and potential hazards relating to
the tool you are using. Read and become familiar with all operating
instructions.
ALWAYS
wear safety goggles manufactured to the latest European Safety
Standards when drilling. Everyday eyeglasses do not have impact resistant
lenses and are not safety glasses.
ALWAYS
check for damage before use and that the tool will operate
properly. If in doubt,
do not use. Consult your local dealer. Any damage
should be properly repaired or the part replaced.
ALWAYS
check for alignment of moving parts and any condition that may
affect operation.
ALWAYS
keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite accidents.
ALWAYS
ensure that adequate lighting is available and that you will not be
working in your own shadow.
ALWAYS
concentrate on the job in hand, no matter how trivial it may seem. Be
aware that accidents are caused by carelessness.
