SETUP
FITTING THE POLISHING WHEEL TO THE BENCH GRINDER
1.
Remove the wheel and all guards from the left hand side
of your bench
grinder.
• Consult the bench grinder user manual for instruction of how to do this.
• The inner guards are normally held on with 3 or 4 screws.
• When you revert the bench gri
n
der back to normal use, ALL GUARDS
MUST
BE REFITTED.
2. Slide the tapered shaft over the
spindle as shown.
• If you cannot slide it on easily,
you may need to loosen the
grub screws on either side of
the tapered shaft.
3. Use a small flat screwdriver to
tighten up grub screws on either
side of the tapered shaft.
4. Whilst holding the tapered shaft
with one hand screw the polishing
wheel onto the sharp end of the
tapered shaft by hand.
5. To remove the Polishing wheel,
simply screw the polishing wheel
in the opposite direction whist
holding the tapered shaft with
your other hand.
BUFFING WHEEL.
The buffing wheel is fitted in the same way as above.
