Transporting the Generator Set
DO NOT transport the generator set with a gas bottle connected.
Ensure the ignition switch is OFF.
Transport in a horizontal position and if transported in the back of a truck or van, ensure it is
adequately secured to prevent it from being damaged by sliding around.
Storing for Extended Period.
Always store in a dry, clean environment, under cover, protected from the elements.
•
Remove the Spark Plug and pour a spoonful of engine oil into the cylinder. Gently pull
the starter cord to distribute the oil around the cylinder, stopping the piston at its highest
point on the compression stroke.

Replace the spark plug.
•
Change the engine oil (see page 13)
TROUBLESHOOTING
Should you experience difficulties other than those outlined here, you should consult your
Clarke dealer.
