14. Bluetooth® TELEPHONE OPERATIONS
Introduction to Bluetooth® Technology
Bluetooth® wireless technology is a radio technol-
ogy that connects devices, such as mobile phones
and headsets, without wires or cords over a short
distance of approximately 10 meters (approximately
33 feet). Get more information at www.bluetooth.
com.
• Hands-free Profile (HFP)
Allows user to perform hands-free operation with
the connected mobile phone.
• Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)
Allows high quality stereo music to be streamed
from external audio player to this unit wirelessly.
• Audio/Video Remote Control Profile
(AVRCP)
Allows user to control some basic playback func-
tions of external audio player via this unit.
• Phonebook Access Profile (PBAP)
Allows exchange of mobile phone information such
as caller ID, call history and list of contacts.
Note:
• Please check your phone’s specification for supported
profiles or consult with the nearest service centre for your
phone compatibilities.
Select Phone Mode
1. Press the button on the Home Screen. The
display will change accordingly.
2. Press one of the tabs to select a specific setting
category.
3. Press the [ button to exit Settings and return to
access the Home Screen.

2) Call log Tab
3) Phonebook Tab
4) Keypad Tab
5) Tab display. Differs with each selected tab.
Voice Dialer
Note:
• This function is dependent on Bluetooth connected
phone.
• Performing Voice Dialing
1. Press the [VOICE] button to activate voice dialing
feature of the connected phone.
2. Press [VOICE] button again to cancel the voice
dialing.

• Making a Call Using Key Pad
1. Press the [Keypad] tab to select Key Input. The
display will change accordingly.
2. Enter the telephone number by using the key pad
displayed on the screen.
3. Press the [X] button to delete the numbers input-
ted one by one.
4. Press and hold the [X] button to delete all the
numbers inputted.
5. Press the button to call the entered number.
Note:
• This unit does not support Unstructured Supplementary
Service Data (USSD). To perform USSD related func-
tions, please do so on your phone.
• Making a Call Using Redial function
Press the button to redial the last number.
