Only keys for valid letters appear in green. The
rest are grayed out. The letters you type appear
in the box at the top of the keyboard.
If you’ve defined your state and are entering a
postal code the unit fills in the beginning digit
based on the system database. This helps
avoid typing errors.
In the example, the first digit, “9” of the postal
code appeared automatically and only the keys
needed to enter the rest of the postal code are
available.

To type letters with diacritical marks, such as “é”
and “ñ,” press the special characters button.

Press the standard characters
button to return
to standard characters.
Press the backspace key if you make a mistake.

After typing one or more characters, press the
accept button (check mark).
The system generates a short list of options
based on the characters you typed so far.
The following is an example of a short list of
cities.
