6. OPERATIONS
Note:
• Be sure to read this chapter referring to the front diagrams of chapter “ 3. CONTROL S ” on page 7.
Basic Operations
CAUTION
Be sure to lower the volume before
switching off the unit power or the ignition
key. The unit remembers its last volume
setting.
Turning on/off the power
Note:
1. Press the [ SRC ] bu tton to t u rn on the power.
2. Press and hold the [ SRC ] bu tton (1 sec.) to
t u rn off the power for the u nit.
Note:
• System check
The first time this unit is turned on after the wire
connections are completed, it must be checked
what equipment is connected. When the power
is turned on, the “
S Y S TEM CHECK ” appears in
the display, then the unit returns to the radio
mode.
S electing a mode
1. Press the [ SRC ] bu tton to change the
operation mode.
2. Each time yo u press the [ SRC ] bu tton, the
operation mode changes in the following
order:

Adjusting the volume
1. T u rning the [ ROTARY ] kno b clockwise
increases the v ol u me; t u rning it
co u nterclockwise decreases the v ol u me.

The v ol u me le v el is from 0 (minim u m) to 33
(maxim u m).
S witching the display
Press the [ DISP ] bu tton to select the desired
display.
Audio Adjustment
Yo u can adj u st a so u nd effect or tone qu ality to
yo u r preference.

Setting the BBE MP
(Sound Enhancement and
Restoration for compressed audio
files)
BBE MP (Minimized Polynomial N on-Linear
Sat u ration) Process impro v es digitally
compressed so u nd, s u ch as MP3, b y restoring
and enhancing the harmonics lost thro u gh
compression. BBE MP works b y regenerating
harmonics from the so u rce material, effecti v ely
reco v ering warmth, detail and n u ance.
