Repeat play
Play b ack one track repeatedly.
1. Press the [ RPT ] bu tton.
●
Random play
Play all al bu ms within a selected category, in
random order. (Corresponds to “Sh u ffle
(Al bu ms)” command on iPod.)
1. Press the [ RDM ] bu tton.

All random play
Play all tracks within a selected category, in
random order. (Corresponds to “Sh
u ffle
(Songs)” command on iPod.)
1. Press and hold the [ RDM ] bu tton (1 sec.).
●
To cancel play
1. Press the same play bu tton once again.
Notes:
• When the repeat play mode is canceled, after
playing all tracks within a selected category,
playback will begin from the first track in the
selected category.
• When playing the last track within a selected
category in Random mode, if ACC is switched off
then on again, playback will begin from a
different track.
• Though the default setting of an iPod is “ All
Repeat ”, the indication on the mode status is not
displayed.
• When performing operations using simple control
mode, do not set the repeat off on the iPod.
S electing category from the iPod
menu
1. Press the [ BAND ] bu tton (1 sec.) to select
the iPod men u mode.
The iPod men u categories will b e displayed.
Notes:
• Repeat and Random mode operations are not
supported when in the iPod menu mode.
• In iPod menu mode, if you press the [
x
]/[
v
]
button or turn the [ ROTARY ] knob fast, playback
may not be performed.
2. T u rn the [ ROTARY ] kno b to select “ Music ”
or “ Video ”.
3. Press the [ ROTARY ] kno b .
4. T u rn the [ ROTARY ] kno b to switch b etween
categories.
The iPod men u categories alternate in the
following order:
• In the M u sic mode:
“ PLAYLISTS ”
↔
“ ARTISTS ”
↔
“ ALBUMS ”
↔
“ SONGS ”
↔
“ GENRES ”
↔
“ COMPOSERS ”...
• In the Video mode:
“ MOVIES ”
↔
“ MUSIC VIDEOS ”
↔
“ TV SHOWS ”
↔
“ VIDEO PODCASTS ”
↔
“ RENTALS ”
Notes:
The iPod menu mode can be canceled by
performing one of the following operations:
• Press the [
BAND ] button.
• When the category select screen is displayed,
press the [ ROTARY ] knob.
5. Press the [ ROTARY ] kno b to select the
category.
6. W hen the track name display is showing,
press the [ ROTARY ] kno b .
Play b ack will b egin from the first track in the
selected category, and the iPod men u mode
will b e canceled.
