General
Cooling
The engine cooling circuit, by closed circuit forced flow,
includes the following elements:
- Expansion tank: its location, shape and dimensions may
vary according to the engine layout;
- Radiator: it dissipates head extracted from the engine by
the coolant. The location and dimension of this element
also depend on the type of layout;
- Fan: it increases the dissipating power of the radiator. It
is also part of the specific layout of the engine;
- A heat exchanger to cool lubrication oil. It is also part of
the specific layout of the engine;
- A centrifuge water pump housed at the front of the
engine block;
- A coolant regulation thermostat.
