CD OPERATION AND HANDLING OF COMPACT DISCS

REMOVING A CD

1. Make sure the CD is not playing. If it is, operate the STOP BUTTON (

) first.

2. Open the CD door manually.
3. Carefully remove the CD.
4. Close the CD door manually.
5. Replace the CD in its protective storage box.

PLAYING A COMPACT DISC

5.6.1 NORMAL OPERATION

1. Move the FUNCTION SWITCH to the CD position, if there is a disc in the CD 

compartment already. After approximately 5 seconds, the overall number of tracks on 

the CD will be displayed.

2. To start playing the CD, press the CD player's PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (

) (THE 

PLAY/PAUSE indicator will light up). Track number 1 will be shown in the LED 
DISPLAY and after a few seconds, the track will start playing.

3. Adjust the volume control to your personal taste.
