Example

In the following example, flow control is enabled on port 1.

Console(config)# interface ethernet 1

Console(config-if)# flowcontrol on

mdix

The mdix Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode command enables cable
crossover on a given interface. Use the no form of this command to disable cable
crossover.

NOTE

(SPS224G4 combo ports) This command applies when the copper port is used.
The configuration does not apply when an SFP is plugged to the port.

Syntax

mdix {on | auto}

no mdix

Parameters

•

on — Manual mdix is enabled.

•

auto — Automatic mdi/mdix is enabled.

Default Configuration

The default setting is auto.
