Caution
Always use the supplied ESD wristband when working with a powered ONS 15454 ETSI. Plug the
wristband cable into the ESD jack located on the lower-right outside edge of the shelf assembly.

Purpose
This procedure installs alarm, timing, LAN, and craft wires on the
ONS 15454 shelf. These wires are attached to the mechanical interface card
(MIC) FMECs on the ETSI shelf and are attached to the backplane on the
ANSI shelf.

Twisted #22 or #24 AWG (0.51 mm² or 0.64 mm²) shielded wires for LAN
or craft
75-ohm coaxial cable with 1.0/2.3 miniature coax connector
0.51 mm² or 0.64 mm² (#22 or #24 AWG) alarm wires
