Overview
The ADSL2 Modem has been
designed to be functional right out
of the box, with the default settings.
However, if you'd like to change
these settings, the ADSL2 Modem
can be configured through your
web browser with the Web-Based
Utility. This chapter explains how to
configure the ADSL2 Modem in this
manner.
Open your web browser and enter
192.168.1.1. in the web browser’s
Address field. (It is all right if you get
an error message at this point.) Press
the
Enter
key and the following
screen will appear. Enter admin in
lowercase letters in the User Name
field, and enter admin in lowercase
letters in the Password field (admin is
the default user name and
password.) You can set a new
password from the Security tab.
