Viewing Status of Physical Interfaces
Use the Networking > Ports > Physical Interface page to view information about all
physical ports on the security appliance.
For all models, the following information appears:
•
Name:
The name of the physical port.
•
Enable:
Shows if the physical port is enabled or disabled.
•
Port Type:
The type of the physical port, such as WAN, LAN, or DMZ.
•
Mode:
The access mode of the physical port. A WAN or DMZ port is always
set to the Access mode. A LAN port can be set to the Access or Trunk
mode.
•
VLAN:
The VLANs to which the physical port is mapped.
•
PVID:
The Port VLAN ID (PVID) is used to forward or filter the untagged
packets coming into port. The PVID of a trunk port is fixed to the DEFAULT
VLAN (1).
•
Speed/Duplex:
The duplex mode (speed and duplex setting) of the
physical port.
•
Link Status:
Shows if the physical port is connected or disconnected.
For the ISA550W and the ISA570W, the Wireless Interfaces area displays the
following information for all SSIDs:
•
SSID Name:
The name of the SSID.
•
VLAN:
The VLAN to which the SSID is mapped.
•
Client Associated:
The number of client stations that are connected to the
SSID.
