Recommended Table Height and Minimum Table Width
Recommended Table Height and Minimum Table Width
For all table types, the table must be 28 to 32 inches (71 to 82cm) high, and at least five feet (1.5 meters)
wide at its widest point. 30 inches (76 cm) is the optimal table height.
You should allow 30 inches (76 cm) of space for each conference participant. Cisco recommends a
maximum of two participants for the CTS 1100.
For guidelines about placing the table in the room, see Figure 4-10 in Chapter 4, “First-Time Setup.”
Recommended Table Finishes
Cisco recommends that the table in your CTS 1100 room have the following characteristics:
•
The table tops should have a low-gloss finish (non-reflective surface)
• If you use wood a table, the wood should be a neutral, light color
•
If you use a laminate or plastic table, the table top should be a neutral, light color (for example,
off-white or light gray)
Cisco does not recommend using the following types of table tops:
•
A table that uses a very dark or heavily saturated color (for example, wood that is reddish in color,
or uses a dark wood stain)
• A table with a glass top
•
Any table top that has a reflective surface
Figure 2-1 shows examples of unacceptable table colors.
