Connecting to an AC Power Source

Take care when connecting units to the supply circuit so that wiring is not overloaded.

Statement 1018

Warning

Before you begin

Prior to connecting the power supply to a power source, ensure that the ONT is properly grounded.

Procedure

Step 1

Plug the power cable into the power connector on the ONT.

Step 2

Plug the other end of the power cable into a power source.

Step 3

Verify that the power supply is receiving power by checking whether the PWR LED is green.

If the LED does not turn on, check the power connections on the power supply and the power source.
