Fan Module Overview

The switch has one dual-direction fan module which comprises two fans (

). The orientation

of the fan module sets the direction of the air flow through the switch—either air flow into the ports, or
air flow out of the ports. The air flow direction of the switch should match the air flow direction for other
devices in the same rack. To change the air flow direction, remove the fan module, rotate it 180 degrees
(

), and re-insert it.

The fan module is hot-swappable.
