Closing the Housing
Introduction
This document provides instructions for correctly closing the Compact Dual
Output EGC Amplifier A93270 and the Compact Single Output EGC Amplifier
A93280 housings.
Important:

Tightening the Housing Closure Bolts
To tighten the housing closure bolts, follow the steps below.
Important:
Before you start, make sure you have a 5-mm Allen wrench.
CAUTION:
Avoid moisture damage and RF leakage! Follow the procedure
exactly
as
shown below to ensure a proper seal.
1.
Inspect the housing gasket and all mating surfaces. Wipe off any dirt and
debris.
2.
Close the housing and finger-tighten all closure bolts.
3.
Use the Allen wrench to tighten each closure bolt from 5 Nm to 6.5 Nm (3.7 ft-
lb to 4.8 ft-lb).
Important:
Follow this numbered sequence to tighten the closure bolts.
