Enter the enable command and password (if prompted).

Enter the show startup-config command to display the enabled password in the
configuration file.

Enter the configure terminal command to enter global configuration mode:
Milo# configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.

Step 10
Enter the config-register 0x value command to change the software configuration
register value back to its original value which you noted in Step 1.
Milo(config)# config-register 0x value
Milo(config)#
Step 11
Press Ctrl-Z to exit global configuration mode.
Milo(config)# Ctrl-Z

Reboot the router and use the recovered password with the enable command to
gain access to the router.
