Home Theater Bypass
The number 4 input can also be configured as a Home Theater Bypass, enabling connection from the
front channel outputs of a Home Theater Processor or preamplifier. This allows the use of your Stereo
system for the front channels of your surround/HT system. When connected in this manner, the PLC's
volume control is bypassed, and the HT system is controlled by the processors controls.
To enable Home Theater Bypass, use the supplied hex wrench to remove the top cover. Locate the blue
selection jumper at the right rear (viewed from front) between the output jacks and volume control.
Place the blue jumper across pins 1&2 to enable HT Bypass, or 2&3 for standard input (default), and
re-install the top cover.
