- Don‘t touch the buttons and don‘t pull the crown while the watch is wet or under water. This
way you can avoid water to infiltrate the watch. Should salt water infiltrate the watch, lay it in
fresh water and send it to our official Repair Center as soon as possible.
- Do not expose your watch to strong magnetic fields or to electrostatic charge. It could dete-
riorate the movement and the functions of the watch.
Energy consumption
If you happen to not wear your watch for several weeks or even for several months you can
pull the crown carefully to position 2, before putting it back. Doing so, you can reduce the
energy consumption.
Changing the battery
Please do not try to change the battery by yourself. In order to preserve its water-resistance all
the gaskets need to be replaced when changing the battery. Therefore we strongly recom-
mend you to take your Chrono Diamond® watch to an official service centre.
Discharged batteries should be removed from the watch as soon as possible. Used batteries
may leak dangerous fluids that could damage the internal quartz mechanism of your Chrono
Diamond ® watch.
