4. Remote Operation

4.1 Overview

69200-1 can be controlled remotely via Ethernet which uses local area network to perform

data transmission.

4.2 Ethernet Remote Control

Before using a PC with Ethernet to program the 69200-1 remotely, the address of IP,

Gateway and Subnet mask should be learned in advance. A unique IP address has been

specified to each device that connected to Ethernet interface. The address allows the

system controller to communicate with individual device. For Chroma 69200-1, the IP

address is set to 192.168.1.100.

This section explains how to use the network interface rapidly and correctly. Be sure to read it

carefully before using the 692XX network interface. Also ensure the network cable to connect

to the controller properly.

4.2.1 Selecting LAN Type

The LAN is divided into Site LAN and Private LAN. 69200-X supports Private LAN only. The

user can use the following two ways to connect to PC.
