It’s fitting that with its launch on the 10th anniversary of Trident, the
C60 Trident Elite 1000 Limited Edition has just set a new benchmark
for our bestselling dive series.
Water-resistant to 1000m – the first time a Trident of any kind has
been engineered to withstand such a depth – the addition of a
helium release valve confirms that the Elite 1000 is very much an
accomplished diving tool; and having incorporated a number of
upgrades introduced in Trident 3, it remains supremely functional in
everyday use too.
A fully lumed ceramic bezel is a useful addition, while one of the
main comments about previous Tridents has been addressed with the
introduction of Grade X1 GL C1 Super-LumiNova®, the best possible
lume available on the market today, used throughout. The hands
and indexes featured in the Elite 1000 have also been upgraded, with
multi-faceted edges and a blend of polished and brushed surfaces
ensuring excellent readability against the Elite’s shiny-finish dial.
It’s this continued commitment to the smallest details that make

seconds hand colour-matching its bezel’s inverted triangle, or tactile
