Reinstalling the LED modules (on page 24)
Connecting the data source cables
Connect the data cables between the tiles in the array.
1. Remove the cover from the data port area.
2. Remove the main and redundant data cables from the port inside the tile, and feed the cables
through the pass-through hole.
3. Plug the main data cable into the next tile in the column.
The data cables are connected from the main hub board of the tile to the data ports of the
next tile in the column.
Consistently use either the left or right ports for all primary data connections, and the other
port for all redundant data connections.
4. Pull any excess cable back into the cabinet.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for all tiles in the array.
6. If the data cables need to be connected to the first tile in an adjacent column, follow these
steps:
a) Ensure the covers for the pass-through holes on the sides of the tiles have been removed.
b) Disconnect the short Ethernet cables from the data ports at the top of the hub board (A).
c) Connect 1.5m Ethernet cables to the main and redundant data ports at the top of the hub
board.
d) Feed the cables through the interior of the tile and through the pass-through hole into the
tile of the adjacent column.
e) In the first tile in the new column, connect the Ethernet cables to the data ports at the top
of the hub board.
7. Connect an Ethernet cable from the first tile in the array to the controller.
