INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT INTO THE VEHICLE
HARNESS (SAFETY BELT) ADJUSTMENT

Place the car seat REAR-FACING on vehicle seat – fig. 4a.
Thread vehicle lap belt through car seat slots as shown in fig. 4b, 4c and 4d and buckle the
belt.
WARRNING ! Vehicle shoulder belt must not be placed through car seat's slots!
Pull the belt front to back and left to right to check for secure installation.
The belts must be fitted snug on the child. The baby’s clothes should not obscure the
harness.
The car seat has two sets of slots for safety belt straps height adjustment according to the
child's body. To change the harness strap position, undo the harness strap from the steel
splitter plate on the back of the car seat and re-thread them through the desired slots. Then
reconnect the straps to the steel splitter plate (fig.8) .
Please, see Fig.9 which shows the steps for properly placing and securing the child in the
car seat.
Press the red release button on buckle and unfasten the buckle connector to detach the
shoulder straps too (fig.9a and fig.9b) .
Lift up the harness straps and lay them flat on the back of the restraint. Place the child in
the restraint. Put the harness straps on the child's shoulders. Join the two buckle connectors of
shoulder straps, passing the left under the right, and insert them together into the buckle until
you hear a "click" signifying that the buckle is locked.
NOTE: Check that the buckle is secured by attempting to pull the above and below part to
remove the connectors.
