7.4 MOTOR SUPPLEMENTARY PROTECTION

•  Disconnect the power prior to servicing the

equipment.

the fume extraction units are equipped with a manually
resettable, supplementary protector (circuit breaker)
which provides an additional layer of electrical
protection to the required branch circuit protection. the
protector is located in the clean air plenum of the unit
mounted directly below the motor/blower assembly. to
reset the circuit breaker, remove the louvered discharge
panel to gain access and then flip the breaker switch
back to the closed setting.

7.5 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

•  Disconnect electrical power prior to servicing

equipment.

•  Take all necessary precautions including protective

clothing such as eye protection, ear plugs and
gloves..

Daily Items:

•  Check filter pressure gauge and verify airflow is

adequate to control fume generation. replace or clean
filter if necessary.

•  Verify that extraction arm moves freely and also holds

desired position. adjust joints as necessary
