OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Operating Steps
1.
Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
2.
Press on the Shaft Lock and turn the Collet until it locks in place.
3.
Turn the Collet Lock Nut (2) counterclockwise to loosen it.
4.
Insert the shaft of the desired tool accessory into the Collet and securely
tighten the Lock Nut (2) clockwise. Release the Shaft Lock.
Caution: Never use a tool accessory not rated for the maximum speed of this
Rotary Tool. The operational part of the tool accessory cannot be over one
inch in diameter.
5.
Securely grasp the tool handle (with both hands) and press the On / Off
Switch (18) to the On (I) position.
6.
Rotate the Speed Adjust Wheel (16) to adjust the tool speed.
Note
: High speed is recommended for cutting and drilling hard woods, metals, and
glass; and grinding. Use lower speeds for buffing, drilling plastics, and wood
engraving.
7.
When finished using the Rotary Tool, press the On / Off Switch (18) to the Off
(O) position. Wait until the motor stops before setting the tool down.
8.
Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING
WARNING! Make sure the Power Switch of the Rotary Tool is in its Off (O)
position and that the tool is unplugged from its electrical outlet before per-
forming any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures.
1.
Periodically recheck all nuts, bolts, and screws for tightness.
2.
Store in a clean and dry location.
