Charging the Battery
The internal Battery does not come charged from the factory. Charge before using.
1.
Insert the Charger Adapter module plug into the unit connector as shown on
the previous page.
2.
Plug the Charger Adapter module into an electrical outlet.
The red Charging Indicator on the cordless Screwdriver will light. Charge the
new battery from 3 to 5 hours. The charger will shut off automatically when
the charge is complete, and the red charging indicator will go off. Battery
usage time will ramp up as the new Battery is used, and recharged.
3.
Remove the Power Adapter from the electrical outlet and store.
Caution: Do not overcharge the battery. Never charge Battery for more than 5
hours continuously. Charger Adapter should not be left plugged in after charg-
ing is complete .
Using the Cordless Screwdriver
1.
Set the Screwdriver handle grip style by pushing the locking button then turn
the handle for pistol or straight grip.
2.
Insert the desired hex bit, driver, or adapter into the Chuck.
3.
Turn the Torque Cover (4) to adjust the drive torque to one of six positions.
4.
Engage the bit, driver, or adapter over the item being turned. The bit size must
match the size of the item being turned.
5.
Press the Forward/Reverse Switch (13) for the desired operation.
6.
Press and hold the Trigger Switch (12) to begin operation.
