15.

Hang the extension cord over your shoulder to keep the cord out of the way

.

16.

NOTE: Always start and stop the Polisher while it is held firmly against the surface of
the vehicle.  Failure to do so may result in the Polishing Bonnet (42) being thrown
from the Backing Pad (41).

17.

Grip the Polisher firmly with both hands.  Then turn the Power Switch (6) to its “ON”
position, select the desired speed, and allow the Backing Pad (41) to rotate until it
has reached that speed. (See Figure G.)

18.

Begin polishing the vehicle by lightly buffing off the wax residue in a

circular pattern.

Continue polishing until all the wax residue is removed.

19.

After the wax has been removed from the vehicle’s surface, turn the Power Switch
(6) to its “OFF” position.  Then unplug the Power Cord (1) from the electrical extension
cord, and unplug the extension cord from the grounded, 120 volt, electrical outlet.

20.

Remove the Polishing Bonnet (42) from the Backing Pad (41).  With the Polishing
Bonnet in your hand, remove the wax from all hard to reach areas of the vehicle

Sanding Instructions

1.

Place a 7” sanding pad with a hook and loop back (sold separately) securely onto the
Backing Pad (41).  (Similar to Figure F.)

2.

Plug the Power Cord (1) of the Polisher into the electrical extension cord.  Then, plug
the extension cord into the grounded, 120 volt, electrical outlet.

3.

Hang the extension cord over your shoulder to keep the cord out of the way

.

4.

NOTE: Always start and stop the Polisher while it is held firmly against the surface of
the vehicle.  Failure to do so may result in the sanding pad being thrown from the Backing
Pad (41).

5.

Identify the area you wish to sand.  Make sure the power cord will reach that far without
stressing any connections.  Place the Polisher/Sander onto the sanding area.

6.

Grip the Sander/Polisher firmly with both hands.  Then turn the Power Switch (6) to its
“ON” position, select the desired speed, and allow the Backing Pad (41) to rotate until
it has reached that speed.  (See Figure G.)

Always check for possible wear.

Never use a worn, torn, or defective disk
or a disc that will not stick securely to
the Backing Pad (41).

Always wear approved eye

and respiratory protection when
operating the Polisher/Sander.
