Operating Instructions

  Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT 

SAFETY INFORMATION section at the 

beginning of this manual including 

all text under subheadings therein 

before use of this product.

TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM 

ACCIDENTAL OPERATION: Release Trigger and 

unplug the tool from its electrical outlet before 

adjusting tool or installing accessories.

Work Piece / Work Area Set Up

1.  Designate a work area that is clean and well-

lit.  The work area must not allow access by 

children or pets to prevent distraction and injury.

2.  Route Power Cord (22) along a safe route to reach 

work area without creating a tripping hazard or 

exposing cord to possible damage.  The power 

cord must reach work area with enough extra 

length to allow free movement while working.

3.  Secure loose work pieces using a vise or 

clamps (not included) to prevent movement 

while working. The work piece must be secured 

so that it will not move during cutting.

4.  There must not be hazardous objects, such 

as utility lines or foreign objects, nearby that 

will present a hazard while working.

General Operating Instructions

 

 

 
TO PREVENT SERIOUS 

INJURY: Grip tool firmly in both hands.

1.  Mark work piece area you wish to cut and insert 

Power Cord into nearest electrical outlet.

2.  Grip Cut-Off Tool so thumb rests on 

Trigger (35). Make sure Cutting Wheel is 

not touching surface of work piece.

3.  Press forward on Trigger Lock (33), to release 

Trigger.  Pull up to operate the Cutting Wheel.

4.  Allow tool to come up to full speed 

before touching the work material.

5.  Carefully place the edge of Cutting 

Wheel onto work piece surface.

6.  To cut, keep tool moving over work surface. 

Maintain steady amount of pressure on Cut-Off 

Tool.  Forcing down tool may cause it to stall.

7.  When finished, release Trigger to stop 

Cut-Off Tool. Allow tool to come to a 

complete stop before setting it down.

8.  Disconnect Power Cord from outlet. Clean, then 

store the tool indoors out of children’s reach.
