Mounting the Wheel Accessory and Handle
WARNING: Disconnect the electrical power before following this procedure.
1. Turn the Angle Grinder over to expose the Clamp Nut (42) and Backup Flange (41).
2. Press the Spindle Lock (28) button and turn the Clamp Nut (42) by hand until the lock
engages and the Spindle (34) does not turn.
3. Keep pressing the Spindle Lock button, and using the Wrench (54), loosen the Clamp
Nut by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Remove the Clamp Nut and place the accessory wheel over the Spindle, on top of the
Backup Flange (41).
5. Replace the Clamp Nut and tighten clockwise using the Wrench.
6. Screw in the Handle (44) into the hole on the right, left, or top of the Gear Cover (31).

Operation
WARNING: There are certain applications for which this tool was designed. Harbor
Freight Tools strongly recommends that this tool not be modified and/or used for any
application other than which it was designed. All accessories must be rated for at least
the RPM speed recommended on the tool’s warning label. Wheels and other accessories
running over their rated speed can fly apart and cause injury.
For safest operation, it is recommended that only these accessories be used with this
product: Abrasive Cut-off Discs and Wheels, Flap Wheels, Wire Brushes, and Wire
Wheel Brushes.
