If making an angle (bevel) cut, loosen the Bevel Angle Screw (1) and push the arm
handle to the left to the desired angle (0 to 45 degrees). Retighten the Bevel Angle
Screw (1).
7.
Secure the stock to the Fence or Table using an appropriate clamp (not supplied).
8.
Place both hands on the arm handle and turn on the saw by pressing in on the Lock
Button (37), then squeezing the Switch Button (44).
9.
When the Saw Blade comes to full speed, bring the Saw Blade down and begin
cutting slowly through the stock.
Warning: Avoid personal injury. Do not disable the Saw Blade safety Guard (89). Keep
fingers and hands away from the moving blade.
10.
When the cut is finished, release the Switch Button (44). Wait for the Saw Blade to
stop turning before reaching for the cut stock.
11.
When you are finished using the saw, press the arm handle down until it locks into
position.
Replacing the Saw Blade
1.
Remove the Battery (40) from the Miter Saw.
2.
Loosen Screws (85 and 87).
3.
Push down on the left side of the Guard Stand (84) releasing it from around Screw
(87).
4.
Push up on the front of the Guard (89) assembly to expose the Saw Blade (71).
5.
Place a blade press board wrench (not supplied) into the two holes of the Blade Press
Board (70) to keep the Saw Blade from turning.
6.
Place a wrench on the Screw (69) and turn clockwise until the Screw, Washer, and
Blade Press Board (70) can be removed.
