ACRONYMS
ABS (ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM)- Helps prevent a braking skid and maintain steering while braking hard.
ACC (ACCESSORY)- This mode allows the use of some electrical equipment when the engine is off. With
the engine Off and Brake Pedal NOT Applied- pressing the START BUTTON 1-Time will place the
Ignition in ACCESSORY (ACC). After 5-Minutes, the ignition will go from Accessory to OFF to prevent
Battery Drain.
ANC (ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION)- If equipped, ANC reduces engine noise in the vehicles Interior.
DCT (DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION)-
DIC (DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER)- The display shows the status of many vehicle systems when the
ignition is on.
DRL (DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS)- The DRL system makes the dedicated lamps (Front Lamps Only) come
on when; 1- The Ignition is ON 2- The exterior lamp control is in Auto 3- The light sensor determines
it is daytime.
EPB (ELECTRONIC PARKING BRAKE)-
ESC (ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL)- Helps limit wheel spin and assists driver in maintaining control,
especially on slippery road conditions. Activates when the vehicle senses a difference between the
intended path and the direction the vehicle is actually traveling. (ESC) selectively applies braking
pressure to any one of the vehicle brakes to assist the driver on keeping vehicle on intended path.
HUD (HEADS UP DISPLAY)- Some information concerning the operation of the vehicle is projected onto
the windshield.

(LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL)- Is a hydraulically actuated clutch system inside the transaxle? Uses
driver sensors and driver inputs to determine the optimal amount of clutch engagement for the
conditions. Improves traction when cornering by changing the engagement to achieve a balance
between directional control and acceleration. Improves vehicle stability during spirited driving and
evasive maneuvers. It is fully integrated with the Active Handling and Performance Traction
Management (PTM) systems If Equipped.
(eLSD)- Displays the amount of rear differential coupling when the Electronic Limited-Slip Diff.
(eLSD)- is active and functioning during vehicle operation.
MRC (MAGNETIC RIDE CONTROL)-
PDR (PERFORMANCE DATA RECORDER)- The PDR records video, audio, and vehicle data. This data is
stored on a removable SD card in the glove box.
PTM (PERFORMANCE TRACTION MANAGEMENT)- Integrates the (TCS) Stabilitrak/ESC and (MRC)
Magnetic Ride Control to provide improved and consistent performance when cornering.
RAP (RETAINED ACCESSORY POWER)- A llows the use of some electrical accessories when the engine is
off for up to 10 Minutes or Driver Door is Opened
RKE (REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY)- The keyless Entry System allows vehicle entry when the Remote Key is
within 3 Feet.
RVC (REAR VISION CAMERA)- When vehicle is shifted into Reverse, the (RVC) displays an image of the
area behind the vehicle in the infotainment display. The Camera is above the rear license plate.
TCS (TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM)- Helps limit wheel spin and assists driver in maintaining control,
especially on slippery road conditions. Activates when it senses that the rear wheels are spinning
too much or are beginning to lose traction. The (TCS) applies the brakes to the spinning wheel and
reduces engine power by (Closing the throttle and managing engine spark) to limit wheel spin.
(eLSD)-Displays the amount of rear differential coupling when the Electronic Limited-Slip
Differential (eLSD) is active and functioning during vehicle operation.
