180 Vehicle maintenance
Note
Forbid cleaning the vehicle
with household tableware
detergent.
Tableware detergent can wash
the paint and wax.
Avoid
too-high washing
pressure. The water will enter
into the vehicle to damage the
inside of the vehicle
Polishing and waxing
Regular polishing can clean the
residue at the vehicle surface.
After polishing, the vehicle shall be
protected with high-quality waxing.
Protect the bright metal parts
outside the vehicle
Clean the bright metal trim regularly.
Generally, it can be cleaned with
water. During waxing the vehicle, you
should not forget to wax the bright
metal trim.
Clean aluminum wheel and wheel
trim cover
In order to keep the original appearance
of wheel and wheel trim cover, you
should not make the dirt and brake dust
accumulate on them.
Clean wheel/ wheel trim cover regularly,
do not use abrasive detergent or brush
which may damage the finishing paint.

Do not clean aluminum wheel
or wheel trim cover with
abrasive detergent or brush.
Note
Prohibit washing or polishing
aluminum
trim with
automotive polishing agent or
chromeplate polishing agent,
steam or alkaline liquid soap.
These
materials have
abrasiveness which may
damage trims and wheels.
Anticorrosion
The vehicles of SGMW are designed
to have anticorrosive capability. Most
automobile parts are made of special
materials and protective paint, which
is
beneficial to keep good
appearance, strength and reliability.
Although the surface of some parts in
the engine compartment or at the
bottom of the vehicle will be rusty, it
will not affect the reliability or function
of these units.
Damage of sheet metal parts
If the body needs to be repaired or
replaced, you should guarantee that
the repair factory adopts appropriate
anticorrosive material to recover the
anticorrosion protection performance.
Foreign matter deposition
The following matters will damage
paint surface:

Calcium chloride and other
saline materials.

Melting ice agent.

Road surface oil and asphalt.
