CAUTION:

If your vehicle is facing downward on a steep
grade (15 percent or more), the door may not
stay open and could slam shut, possibly
injuring someone. To make sure the door does
not slam shut be sure to hold it open until
everyone is clear of the door, and only then
allow it to slowly close.

Rear Doors

If you have the “Dutch doors”, you must open the hatch
first. See “Hatch Release” later in this section.

Rear doors can only be
opened from the outside.
Open the passenger’s
side rear door first. Grasp
the handle and pull the
door open.

To open the driver’s side
rear door, pull on the latch
release handle located
on the inside of the door.
