OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

TO COOK IN THE GRILL AND SKILLET

1.   Set the cool-touch base on a flat, sturdy surface near an outlet. Lower the cooking

insert into the base, making sure that the electrical port is in the rectangular hole
in the side of the base and that the legs align with the four circular holes at the
bottom of the base. Snap the insert securely into the base.

2.   Plug the temperature-control unit into the port in the base.

3.   Ensure that the temperature-control dial is in the OFF position. Plug the power

supply cord into an available power outlet.

4.   Turn the temperature-control dial to the desired temperature. (See Cooking Guide

on p. 7.) The indicator light will turn on and then will turn off when the selected
temperature has been reached.

5.   Add ingredients according to your recipe. During cooking, the indicator light will

turn on and off, indicating the proper temperature is being maintained.

NOTE:

Use

wooden, silicone, or heatproof plastic or nylon cooking utensils as metal can scratch
the nonstick finish.

6.   When you have finished cooking, turn the temperature control dial to the OFF

position, and unplug the power supply cord from the power outlet. Allow the unit
to cool completely before cleaning.
