Ensure that monitor location will not obstruct neither view while driving
the wheelchair nor access to the joystick and/or other wheelchair control device.
The provided mounting stand might not fit to every type of wheelchair. The
display monitor can be mounted in various locations on the power wheelchair.
Consult your wheelchair manufacturer to be sure that installation and mounting
location you choose will not degrade the safety of any system or device on your
wheelchair.

The AWARE

A1 Universal Rear

View System is powered by connecting
the XLR 3 pin plug to the charging port of your power wheelchair .
Contact your power wheelchair manufacturer to ensure that this
connection will not void existing product warranty. You have the option of
choosing Cheelcare AWARE
-
A2 and AWARE
-
A4 for different connection
options. Please note that the price of the different options is not the same.
Installation Guide:
1.
Screw and secure the display monitor mount stand to the wheelchair armrest tube.
2.
Install monitor display to the top of the mounting hardware. Apply pressure until a
click is heard to ensure the monitor is tight and secured onto the mount.
3.
Adjust and tilt mounting angle as preferred to achieve better viewing angle. Then
secure the angle by tightening the screw knob.
4.
Screw on and camera stand and Install rear
-
view camera on top of wheelchair
frame, behind backrest, to achieve maximum viewing angle. Use zip ties provided or
other methods to secure the camera
Connection guide:
Only connect the system to a 3 pin XLR female charging port.
1.
Connect the connectors coming out of the switch box, to the connectors of the
same color of the monitor
2.
Connect the connectors on the other end of the long wire to the same color
connectors of the camera. It is recommended to first install the camera onto the
vehicle, then connect the wires.
3.
Connect the XLR 3 pin plug to your power wheelchair charging port.
4.
Test the system. If there is a problem check the connections.
