ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The device has a power cord with a moulded plug and hence
is ready to be plugged into the mains.
Only plug the device into a power outlet that is up to code.
The device must be connected to a professionally installed
electrical system up to current code.
This is a class I device and it is therefore essential for the
electrical system to have an earth wire.
Where possible, the outlet should be easy to access. In the
event the outlet is no longer accessible following installation,
it must be protected by a suitable multi-pole circuit breaker
fitted by the installer. Circuit breakers must have at least a
3mm gap between contacts (EN 60335).
All necessary electrical data are provided on the power
adapter’s rating plate label. Check that the mains voltage and
frequency match the ratings given on the rating plate label.
If the outlet in your home and the device’s plug moulded onto
the power cord are not compatible, have the outlet replaced
with a suitable one by a qualified electrician only.
Do not use extension cables, socket boards or adapters.
