4.2 Calibration of the sensor (zero reset)
1. Wait until the sensor has been stable for at least 30 seconds.
2. Preferably place the sensor outside in a CO-free zone, remove the
CAL screw protective cap and reset the display to 0 +- 1 ppm using
the screwdriver provided.
If you are unsure of the quality of ambient air, you can apply a
mixture of Oxygen / Nitrogen to the sensor in order to reset to zero.
5. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
• Type of sensor: electrochemical, specifically for CO.
• Calibration of the sensor:calibrated by the manufacturer with a
source at 205 ppm.
• Measuring range : Nominal: from 0 to 1000 ppm (2000 ppm for a
maximum period of 5 minutes).
• Accuracy: +- 5% of the reading +- 5 ppm (from 0 to 1000
ppm).
• Response time: < 70 seconds to 90% of the measurement
• Long-term drift: <5% per year, depending on the frequency of use
• Climatic environment:
- Use: 0 to 50°C (32 to 122 °F) and from 15 to 90%
humidity, without condensation.
- Storage: -20 to +60 °C (-4 to +140°F) and from 0 to 80
RH, without the battery.
• Power supply: 9V battery (6LR61 or 6F22 type)
• Dimensions / Weight: 173 x 60.5 x 38 mm / 190 g with battery
• Electromagnetic compatibility:
Emissions and immunity in an industrial setting
compliant with EN 61326-1
• Impermeability: IP44 as per IEC 60259, the instrument must
be in its protective case.
6. MAINTENANCE
Only use specified spare parts for maintenance purposes. The
manufacturer cannot accept any responsibility for accidents occurring
following repairs carried out outside its after-sales department or
approved maintenance network.
6.1 Cleaning and servicing
6.1.1 Changing the battery
• Set the switch to OFF
• Remove the cover at the back of the instrument
• Replace the old battery with a 9V battery (6LR61 or 6LF22 type)
