he main electric connection is to the rear of the appliance is via a 

kettle plug, it is very important that the plug is fully located in the 
socket and the plastic retention clip that is provided is fitted and 
securely with the  1 screw provided. We further recommend that 
the  power  is  turned  on  and  the  appliance  is  operated  to  check
