Each Use
Check Lights and Reflectors
Check lights and reflectors for correct operation
and cleanliness.
Check Suspension Bolts
Check condition of U-bolts (2) and trailer bolts (1)
each use.
Tighten U-bolts to 50-60 ft•lb (68-81 N•m).
Tighten trailer bolts to according to the
information below:
• First pass (at 10 miles of use): 20-25 ft•lb (27-
34 N•m).
• Second pass (at 25 miles of use): 50-60 ft•lb
(68-81 N•m).
• Third pass (at 50 miles of use): 90-120 ft•lb
(122-163 N•m).
Check Tiedown Binders and Chains
Check tiedown binders and chains for damage each use. Replace if damaged.
