NOTE:
The maximum range of the transmitter and receiver is 50 meters.
This range can be adversely affected by things such as walls and floors,
radio interferences, cellphones, wifi routers, and other obstructions. If the
connection is lost, an alarm sounds and the connection icon blinks. The
reciever will reconnect automatically when back in reconnection range.
OPERATION - USING THE RECEIVER
To
Power On
the unit:
• Press the button on the receiver and the
POWER
button on the
transmitter.
1.
The connection icon on the receiver screen will stop flashing
once connected successfully.
2.
LED will flash once every 5 seconds after connection.
To
Power Off
the unit:
• Press and hold the button on the receiver for 3 seconds
NOTE:
The unit has an
Auto-Off
feature that will be activated if the
temperature is below 40
°
C and without any button operation for 4
hours.
• Press the
Power Button
on the transmitter to turn it off.
Insert the Probe
CAUTION:
The probe is a sharp metal object, and will become hot during
cooking. Take care when handling.
1. Plug the probe connector to the transmitter jack.
2. Insert the probe into the center of the meat. Do not expose any part of
the probe to open flames.
Meat type & Doneness level
NOTE:
The first button press after sitting idle will turn on backlight.
1. Insert probe into the meat.
2.
P1 is on and the Doneness level will flash.
3. Press the button on the receiver twice to cycle through types of
meat being cooked.
