ADJUSTING THE TIME
The crown C is ordinarily placed in position 1.
Adjusting the time
Carefully pull the crown C out to position 2 (one notch) or until position 3 (two notches) according
to the model. Then turn the crown to move the hands to the desired time.
Adjusting the date
Carefully pull the crown out to position 2 (one notch) and turn it in an anti clockwise direction
until the desired date is shown.
Remember to push the crown back fully to return it to its original position.

BOY·FRIEND watches equipped with a mechanical movement require a manual wind to tighten up
the main spring that operates the movement. This is carried out by winding the crown (in position 1)
in a clockwise direction until resistance is felt, which indicates that the movement is completely wound
up (approximately 25 complete turns of the crown). It is important never to force winding past the
full reserve.
The watch has a 42 hour power reserve. Beyond this autonomous period, manual winding becomes
necessary. To guarantee your watch’s accuracy, we recommend winding the movement daily
(approximately 12 complete turns of the crown).
