Step 1
Step 2
Install 4 AA Alkaline batteries (not provided). (Lithium
batteries recommended for colder environments or
longer performance.) Avoid using rechargeable
batteries since these may output higher voltages.
Program
Adhere rubber pads to bottom.
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for any additional intercoms.
The intercom must be programmed to at least one
other intercom to become a network or it can be
programmed into an existing network.
Create New Network
Step 1:
Press the Learn button on the first intercom
until a beep is heard.
Step 2:
Within 10 seconds press the Learn button on
the second intercom until a beep is heard.
Each intercom will emit a tone when programmed into
network. Repeat for any additional intercoms.
Add to an Existing Network
Step 1:
Press the Learn button on the intercom that is
already programmed into the network until a beep is
heard.
Step 2:
Within 10 seconds press the Learn button on
the intercom that is to be programmed into the
network until a beep is heard.
New intercom will emit a tone when programmed into
network. Repeat for any additional intercoms.
Press and release the Talk button to verify network is
complete.
NOTE:
The Portable Intercom is intended to be an
add-on accessory with limited function and can only
control the Primary Gate Control Unit (GCU) #1.

Conference Mode allows multiple
intercoms to participate in a call compared to Secure
Mode in which only two intercoms communicate. To
put intercom in Conference Mode set Dipswitch #2 to
UP position. Any number of intercoms can be set to
Conference Mode.
