5.  Fasten the conveyor to the trimmer using 

the hardware from step 1. 

6.  Remove the lower front door from the trim-

mer to access the cables stored inside the 
machine, and unwrap the cable labeled In-
feed Conveyor. 

7.  Route the cable behind the hydraulic power 

unit and under the left-hand side of the ma-
chine base. 

8.  Connect the cable to the socket on the back-

side of Hand-feed Conveyor.  Lock into 
place by threading the connector collar onto 
the socket. 

 

8.5 Trimmer Setup 

With the trimmer positioned in its final location, 
follow these steps to complete the trimmer 
setup: 

1.  Remove the trimmer's lower front door and 

raise the front end of the machine by adjust-
ing the front two leveling pads.  The final ta-
ble height should be 36" (914mm) from the 
floor.  Use a level to make sure the table is 
level from left to right. 

2.  Open the rear doors and raise the rear end 

of the machine by adjusting the rear two lev-
eling pads until the trimmer table is level.   

3.  Check the front end of the machine with the 

level to make sure the front is still level.  Ad-
just as necessary. 

4.  Lock all (4) leveling pads in place by tighten-

ing the jam nuts against the inside of the 
machine's base as in Figure 8-17.  The nuts 
are accessed from below the machine.

8.6 Out-feed Setup 

The available CMT-130 out-feed options (3) are 
as follows: 

  58000 

Vertical Stacker 

  56420C  Exit Conveyor 

  59093 

Exit Ramp 

Any of these options can be used regardless of 
the trimmer configuration (in-line or stand-
alone). 

Vertical Stacker Option Setup 

For the Vertical Stacker setup, consult the in-
structions and parts manual supplied with the 
Vertical Stacker. 

Exit Conveyor Option Setup

Follow these steps to setup the Exit Conveyor: 

1.  Remove (4) sets of screws and washers 

from the power panel door of the trimmer.  
Save them for later use. 

2.  Set the Exit Conveyor's leveling pads to ap-

proximately 33-7/8" (86.0 cm) as shown in 
Figure 8-19.
