each sequence number, there is one-to-one correspondence attenuating value in
dB.
Fox example, one repeater has 70dB gain on downlink, and 65dB gain on uplink,
when all the dips are dipped down, it means 0 dB attenuating value on downlink
and uplink. So, the current gains of downlink and uplink are 70dB and 65dB
respectively. While if we dip up the dips of No.1, No.6 and No.7, the current gain
of downlink is: 70dB-1dB=69dB, while the uplink gain reduces 1+2=3dB, which is
65-(1+2) =62dB.
6.
Please never connect the cell phone directly to the repeater since this will
damage it.
Powering Up
Plug the 9-volt power supply and switch it on, two indicator lights stand for POWER
and ALARM respectively will be green, it illuminates that the amplifier is ready for
use. Observing the signal bars on your cell phone and trying to make calls, if the
signals strength still is not improved, the reason is that input signals are too low,
you should rotate or reposition the external antenna to get higher input signals
from cell tower. For more, please refer to
